We both slept extremely well following our trip to the spa yesterday, and after a little lie-in decided to go for a drive up to the Cotswolds.

Tuesday rolled in, starting with a big breakfast. Everything in the hotel was very fresh, from the bacon to the pain au chocolates. We filled ourselves up knowing we’d be having a late lunch.

Potton, Bedford, and Oxford

On Easter Sunday, we set off from home after some lunch and made our way down to Potton where we stayed with Ryan, Jeny, and baby Elliot in their beautiful new house arriving shortly after 4pm. They treated us to a delicious BBQ, and we had a relaxing evening chatting and playing with Elliot.

Despite myself having lived in Manchester for 3 years, and Helen having worked there for 4 years, it’d been a very long time since either of us visited either the museum or gallery on Oxford Road, so today we took a trip as tourists.
