Continued from Part 2…
Tuesday morning was Helen’s birthday, so we woke up nice and early to unwrap presents. Unfortunately, while pictures were taken, neither of us had put on our make-up, so they’re not suitable for publication. One picture however definitely needs to be shared, which is the birth of Juice Junior:

On Monday morning after breakfast in the hotel, we set off to Hull to see The Deep, one of the largest aquariums in the UK. The building itself was pretty impressive, and the inside was very interesting. The first area of the tour is filled with (most likely fake) fossils of prehistoric marine life.

After breakfast and packing on Sunday morning, we left for York, arriving at our beautiful hotel around midday. A little too early to check in to our room, we left our luggage with the front desk and went off to explore.

After a few more hours of walking around the city, we decided to have a light dinner at the same restaurant we’d eaten lunch at (The Filling Station), which was again delicious! We shared a massive dessert, a cookie ice cream, which was exactly what it said on the menu! A giant cookie covered in ice cream!

Unlike our weekend in Warwick, we left home first thing Friday morning after breakfast, driving for the best part of four hours, arriving around lunch time. After checking in to the Ben Doran guest house, we took the bus straight up to the city centre for some lunch and a walk around.
